Upper Fifth Exeter School pupil Ben Green, who has just returned from a stint as captain of the South and West U15 cricket team for the Bunbury Festival, was notified of the honour by David Graveney, a leading figure in English cricket and former chairman of the England Test selectors. Over 60 guests joined Brewin Dolphin Exeter and Chartered Accountants Francis Clark at a charity Cricket Match at Sidmouth Cricket Club, in aid of their joint charity of the year; The Exeter Royal Academy for Deaf Education.
