This week Buglife and The Co-operative Plan Bee campaign have launched a new Community Meadow pack – designed to help and inspire local communities to do their bit to help our bees, butterflies and other wildlife by growing their own wildflower meadows.

Police were called to the A38 at Kennford, Exeter just before 6.30am today (Thursday 22 August) after two vans were involved in a collision. The incident happened in the outside lane at the bottom of Telegraph Hill, just before Splatford Split on the southbound carriageway heading towards Newton Abbot. The outside lane was blocked and Highways are dealing with this. The ambulance service were called to treat minor injuries. The vans involved were a white Renault Trafic van registered to Slough and white Mercedes Sprinter van registered to Bristol.

Top British pro cycling team Team UK Youth is determined to make its mark in this year’s 10th anniversary Tour of Britain, targeting success at its 'home stage' in Devon.
The Devon Stage (Stage Six), hosted by Devon County Council, will see the race’s biggest ever field of 114 riders head from sea to summit on Friday 20 September. Carnival day starts at 9am with an exhibition by Topsham Flower Club in St Margaret's Church. The theme is "wish you were here" and tea, coffee and biscuits will be available. The exhibition closes at noon.
