Budding actors ( over the age of 18) are being given the opportunity to attend a fantastic five day course at the Cygnet Theatre.
The course will explore voice, scene work, character development, movement and improvisation leading to an informal showing of work in progress on the final afternoon.
This is an introduction to the types of work undertaken in vocational training. There will be an opportunity to audition for the Cygnet Company to anyone interested.
The course will take place between the dates of: Monday 4th August – Friday 8th August
Overnight work will begin on Monday July 14 to resurface a three mile section of the M5 between junctions 27 and 28 leading to smoother journeys.
The improvement will be carried out between 7pm and 6am and will be completed by Friday, 5 September. No work is planned to be carried out at weekends.

Firefighters were called to Richmond Road, St Davids, Exeter late last night to rescue a six year old boy who had become trapped inside a first floor bathroom.
Crews used a short extension ladder and small tools to rescue the child.

Tony Rowe, Chairman and Chief Executive of Exeter Chiefs Rugby, and Philip Bostock, retired chief executive of Exeter City Council, will receive honorary degrees from the University of Exeter next week.
Joining them will be more than 4,000 graduands who will be personally greeted by the University’s Chancellor, Baroness Floella Benjamin OBE DL, who will be presiding over 17 ceremonies.
