Since staff voted Macmillan Cancer Support as their first charity partner in January 2016, Inchcape Retail has raised an incredible £110,000 and counting. Over the last 18 months employees have taken part in a number of key fundraising activities including their latest activity – The Colla-bear-ator Challenge, which involved the relay of an Inchcape teddy bear from Inchcape’s most northerly site in Sunderland to Inchcape’s most southerly site in Exeter. Along the way, each site was asked to write a note for the next and give the bear a name, with the winning name being chosen on the bear’s...

A campaign to help the most vulnerable in our communities to stay warm and well this winter has launched.

The Surviving Winter appeal asks those who feel they can, to consider donating to those who desperately need extra support during the cold winter months. Many previous donors have donated their Winter Fuel payment if they don’t need it but want to make sure it is well used.

The figures tell a shocking story for older and vulnerable people in Devon living in fuel poverty. Over 1,000 older people are at risk of dying simply due to avoidable winter related illnesses and...

The college was located on Topsham Road and supported thousands of people from 1937 until 2008. The charity continues today as Step One, which organised the event to celebrate its 80th year and offer people with a connection to the old college the opportunity to view its...

Exeter Chiefs 31 Harlequins 17

Reigning champions Exeter Chiefs reclaimed pole position in this season's Aviva Premiership by seeing off visiting Harlequins at Sandy Park.

Far from their best showing of the season, Rob Baxter's side did more than enough to collect all five points and send the Londoners back to the capital with scant reward for their workmanlike efforts in the Westcountry.

Wingers Lachie Turner and Olly Woodburn collected a try apiece for the Devonians, while lock Jonny Hill ensured the bonus point by dotting down twice in the second period as the Chiefs collected their sixth success of...
