Work to stabilise the embankment on parts of the Teign Valley Road will require further daytime road closures over the next fortnight.

Medals belonging to two brothers were kept together after a buyer successfully bid on two separate lots.
One of the brothers, Private Albert Crockford, sadly died in July 2016, on the first day of the Battle of the Somme. He was awarded three medals: the 1914-15 Star, the British War medal and the Victory medal.
Albert’s brother, Lieutenant Corporal J Crockford then received his call up papers, but unlike his brother he survived the war and received the Military medal, 1914-15 Star, British War medal, 1914-1920, and Victory medal.
