Two Mecca Bingo Exeter employees have been recognised for their quick thinking and bravery this week at the Exeter Historic Guildhall.

Operations Manager Simon Hampson and Team Leader Jane Densham were at work in the North Street bingo club on 21 July 2018 when they noticed a fire in the Exeter Synagogue, the result of a suspected arson attempt. Five star housebuilder Barratt Developments has appointed a new marketing apprentice in Exeter as part of expansion plans in the south west.

Finlay McBay has joined the Exeter-based team which looks after Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes in the region.

The 19 year old who lives in Kenton is the second marketing apprentice to join the team in the last year. The first, Barney Munn, has already been promoted to marketing executive.
