World-renowned diabetes researcher Professor Andrew Hattersley has been named as one of ‘The Nation’s Lifesavers’ in the Made@Uni campaign.

Julia is a thirteen year old girl who finds herself on a near-deserted beach in Singapore that is covered in plastic rubbish that washes in from the ocean on every tide.

The only other person on the beach is Meor, the son of a local fisherman who’s father has recently disappeared while on a fishing trip. Support for Moor Lane roundabout improvements

A £2.2 million scheme to ease congestion at Moor Lane roundabout in Exeter has received the backing of Devon County Council’s Cabinet. Cabinet members have approved construction of the improvements on one of the main accesses into the city. The first phase of Exmouth’s Queen’s Drive development – a new road and car park - is nearing completion, paving the way for the building of the new water sports centre.
