Light gauge steel frame specialists Sigmat have announced their partnership with Devon based premiership rugby team the Exeter Chiefs.

The Leeds based firm will be one of the team’s official sponsors for the 2021/22 season.

Sigmat, who are currently working on the construction of a high-profile Marriot Hotel on the club’s Sandy Park site, said they were ‘keen to put something back into the local community’ and saw the opportunity to sponsor the Chiefs as an ideal way to support grass roots rugby as clubs start to emerge from the pandemic.

Racehorse trainer Paul Nicholls has had a magnificent season with his runners, and will be looking to cap it off with strong showings at the spring jumps festivals. Among a strong Cheltenham team representing his Ditcheat stables is the improving Bravemansgame.

Little did anyone know that when this horse won an Exeter novice hurdle in November, he would go on to make rapid further progress. A recruit from the Irish point-to-point scene, Bravemansgame joined Nicholls and ran in some very competitive National Hunt Flat races at Ascot during the winter of 2019.

Young players at Exeter City FC’s Academy will be able to tackle their simultaneous equations, as well as practice their set pieces, thanks to the club’s brand new sponsors.

From Tuesday 16 March to Friday 19 March, more than £4.5 million in allocations will be distributed during the 28 races on the menu of these four days.
