Exeter City Football Club have once again celebrated diversity in the local community by holding a football tournament that attracted players from across the globe, yesterday (Sunday 26 July). Torquay based Crispy Pigs beat Not a Kalou from Ipplepen 2-1 in a closely fought final. Ashley Dewdney scored both goals for the winners as they came from behind to edge victory. Emergency services attended a serious collision on Fore Street in Exeter city centre on Saturday (25 July).

Police and ambulance were called just before 1pm to attend Fore Street, Exeter after reports of a collision between a lorry and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 78 year old male from the Exeter area, was confirmed deceased at the scene.

Fore Street was closed in both directions for several hours whilst an investigation of the scene took place.

Any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact police on 101 quoting log number 415 of 25th July 2015

Police are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision on the A380 Torquay Road in the early hours of this morning (Sunday 26 July).

Police were called at around 1.30am to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian on the A380 Torquay Road near to its junction with Aller Brake Road.

On arrival officers found a male pedestrian having sustained fatal injuries, after being involved in a collision with a vehicle which has failed to stop.
