Enjoy a starry night (or two) with the Countryside team at Seaton Wetlands in August

Seaton Wetlands are at their spectacular best at dusk and during the early hours of the morning, so don’t miss the chance to sleep under the stars and rise and shine with East Devon District Council’s Countryside team on Friday 7 August, starting at 5pm, for a unique camping experience.

Bring your camping kit, go on a night walk, cook over a campfire, discover the moths that live at the Wetlands, listen to stories and wake up to the dawn chorus and a sunrise breakfast.

To book a place, please call 01395 517557 or email Countryside@eastdevon.gov.uk. The cost is £20 for adults and £10 for children - this includes hot drinks, a barbecue on arrival and a bacon bap for breakfast.

Please note booking for this event is essential as places are limited.

On Saturday 8 August Countryside is offering people the opportunity to enjoy some campfire cooking. Between 10am and 1pm, learn the art of lighting a campfire with the Countryside rangers and cook up some delicious popcorn, bread and pancakes. No booking needed – the cost is £3 per person, including food.
