Stagecoach has announced a new managing director for its bus operations in the South West of England.

Mike Watson has been confirmed as the new Stagecoach South West Managing Director after taking the role on an interim basis in November.

Five star housebuilder Barratt Developments has built 591 new homes in the Exeter region in the last 12 months, and brought more than £37 million to local communities.

The figures are obtained from the company’s annual socio-economic footprint and highlight how much the local economy benefits from the building of new homes, thanks to a combination of programmes that form part of each new housing development.

RGB Building Supplies is thanking the local community for supporting its Big RGB Christmas Appeal in aid of Devon Air Ambulance. The appeal invited people to donate good quality, pre-loved items to a drop point in RGB’s Exeter branch.

Bulk bags full of clothing, shoes, books, DVDs and Blu Rays, toys, accessories, jewellery and bric-a-brac were given and passed on to the charity. The items will now be sold in Devon Air Ambulance shops helping it continue to save hundreds of lives across Devon.
