The Deliveroo Restaurant Awards are back for 2025, celebrating the best and most loved local restaurants up and down the country.

From local independent burger joints to neighbourhood sushi restaurants and all the dishes and flavours in between, this year sees four restaurants in Exeter shortlisted for accolades in South England and Wales, including Best Chinese and Best Fish & Chips.

Food lovers all over the county will welcome the news that Devon County Show is to increase its food offering to make it an even more mouth-watering experience for 2019.

Aside from the ever popular Food & Drink Pavilion dedicated to West Country food producers, there will be a new Food Walk at show which will be open to national and international food producers. This will be located on Avenue B, alongside the Taste of the West.

The West Country's leading artisan producers recently joined Darts Farm for their special Harvest Supper. The evening saw the start of the 25 years' celebrations of this nationally award-winning family business, run by the three Dart brothers - Michael, James and Paul.

Blackcurrant jam and orange marmalade made at Otter Garden Centres have scooped silver in the Producers category at the recent Food Drink Devon Awards.

The preserves are made in the kitchens at the garden centre in Ottery St Mary by Liz Lee and her team using traditional methods with a high fruit ratio.

Devon is truly magnificent. At last night’s annual Food Drink Devon Awards the pinnacle of the county’s food and drink producers, hospitality businesses and speciality retailers celebrated in fantastic style at the Highbullen Hotel Golf & Country Club. Ottery’s Rusty Pig has been shortlisted in the Devon Life Food & Drink Awards.

The Yonder Street restaurant is one of three finalists in the category for Restaurant of the Year.
