Exeter is welcoming a new and exciting food event this summer! FEAST FEST (The Big Summer Blow Out) will be exploding on to the foodie scene this June – on the weekend of 15th and 16th and is being held in the grounds of the well-known Topsham Rugby Club.

This aptly named event is a charity fundraiser for Topsham Rugby Club who hope to raise enough money to provide their 500 + members with flood lighting to enable them to train at their clubs facilities all year round.

Bee Jenkins, club manager, said: “Feast Fest is a celebration of all things food and drink topped off with a fantastic live music line up for that real feel good factor. We are delighted to be hosting such a prestigious event which will hopefully enable improvement to our inclusive facilities which proudly provide access to rugby football from under 7’s to over 70’s. Please come along and join us for the event of the year!”

The events tag line is ‘The Big Summer Blow Out’ and the way this event is shaping up, that’s exactly what you can look forward to!

Here is a little taster of what’s in store:

You’ll find an abundance of top-quality food and drink suppliers – think Souvlaki, Asian style dim sum, the famous La Cantina, raclette, nachos, artisan pies and pasties, stone baked pizza, crepes and Mexican delights to name just a few.

Tim Golder from Beer factory & kitchen said “I am really looking forward to bringing La Cantina out of retirement for what is set to be a fantastic event! I can’t wait to meet customers old and new and provide them with our famous dishes and a few new recipes from Beer factory and kitchen”

There are bevies’ aplenty - take your choice from a delectable gin bar, real ale and cider from Hanlons brewery, mouth-watering cocktail bar, prosecco bar and of course ridiculously tasty selection of soft drinks.

You can stock up on a variety of delicious local cheeses, home-made chutneys, peanut butters, spices, breads and find lots of new favourites from our plentiful suppliers who have been hand selected.

There will be a music scene to suit every taste, from local favourites to new up and comings.

Rides and slides for the kids and soft play for the little ones.

There is plentiful parking (suggested donation of £1), a direct bus will drop you right outside the rugby club and a train station just a 5-minute walk away.

The venue is all on one level and very accessible to all!

This is one event that you will not want to miss – and in case you need reminding… its FREE!!
