The RHS Rosemoor Garden Festival launches 21-23 August 2026
RHS Garden Rosemoor’s annual Flower Show this year has been re-imagined as a three-day celebration of gardening, plants and outdoor living – the RHS Rosemoor Garden Festival takes place from Friday 21 – Sunday 23 August 2026.
With headline appearances from nationally recognised gardening personalities, gardeners of all skill levels can listen to spotlight talks, get expert gardening advice, watch practical demonstrations, enjoy guided garden tours and browse and buy specialist plants and accessories.
VIP guests in the Talk Tent this year include:
- Amanda Owen, the Yorkshire Shepherdess, Friday 21 August
- Kate Bradbury, author of The Bumblebee Flies Anyway, Saturday 22 August
- Toby Buckland, BBC Gardener’s World and Radio Devon, Saturday 22 August
- Charles Dowding, no-dig gardening guru, Sunday 23 August.
A Curator's Question Time panel, featuring Curator Jon Webster and invited guests, will provide practical seasonal gardening advice and answer visitors' gardening questions.
Fear not, however, if your fingers aren’t that green – there is plenty more to enjoy!
A programme of live music will create a vibrant festival atmosphere on the rolling lawns of Lady Anne’s garden with the nearby Family Zone extended to offer botanical face painting, hands-on growing activities, seed bomb making, nature-inspired lithographic printing, circus skills and bubble performers (see online for dates and times). Families can also discover the fabulous new Brick Explorers sculpture trail and take part in creative LEGO® building activities.
New for this year is a dedicated Wellness Space where you can learn about meditation techniques, everyday herbalism and forest bathing in the peaceful surrounds of the Winter Garden.
Located nearby in the Garden Room, the Craft Fair will showcase talented local artists, makers and craftspeople, offering visitors the opportunity to browse and purchase handmade gifts, homeware, artwork and artisan products.
Foodies can enjoy a live cookery demonstration from RHS Rosemoor Head Chef Jacob Hoyle, joined by Edibles Team Leader Pete Adams, who will explain how produce is grown in the gardens and share practical tips and tricks for growing at home (recipe cards will be available to take home). A delicious breakfast and lunch BBQ will be available in the Stream Field, providing convenient grab-and-go options for festival visitors, or, you may prefer to pre-book a decadent afternoon tea in the restaurant with garden views.
Then there is the garden itself to admire - explore RHS Rosemoor at its seasonal best, with vibrant displays, creative planting combinations and plenty of inspirational ideas to take home.
Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just starting out, the RHS Rosemoor Garden Festival is the perfect place to spark new ideas and enjoy a relaxed summer’s day out. Soak up the atmosphere with delicious food, live music, family entertainment and plenty of space to relax and unwind.
