Earlier this year Ian Kingsbury visited Hospiscare in Exeter with a cheque for £1388 as part of the freemasons annual giving to hospices throughout England & Wales, this as it turned out was only the beginning.

Educated Recruitment are thrilled to announce that at their event on Friday evening they had raised a huge £1063.58p for Children’s Hospice South West through the £50 Challenge.

Last week, national children’s charity CHICKS challenged local Exeter businesses to compete in their Superstar Games. A first for the charity, the games were held in Princesshay in Exeter City Centre and sponsored by Ashley House Printing, with teams headed up by Smart Estate Agents, Attention Media, KTA, Air Marketing and a mixed team of people from various businesses. The teams went head to head in classic heats of the three-legged race, egg and spoon, obstacle course and a Shrek-themed relay in an effort to raise local awareness and funds for the Devon-based charity.

There are around 2 million people in the UK living with sight loss, and all experience a different level of vision and mobility. We offer a range of mobility services to help people keep their independence, and have an amazing number of dedicated staff, volunteers, and of course, dogs who support the Guide Dogs mission.
