Leading local advice charity, Citizens Advice Exeter, has published its advice trend statistics for April 2016. The charity has helped 43% more people with their advice and information when compared to April 2015.
And Chief Executive Steve Barriball said there were concerns over increases in enquiries about welfare benefits, employment and housing every month last year.

The human-caused rise in atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide is being given an extra boost this year by the natural climate phenomena of El Niño, say climate scientists in a paper published in yesterday's edition of the journal Nature Climate Change. As a result, 2016 will be the first year with concentrations above 400 parts per million all year round in the iconic Mauna Loa carbon dioxide record.
Businesses in Devon have the opportunity to bid for a new round of grant funding to help them reach new customers and clients, following the initial success of the scheme earlier this year.
Devon County Council launched the Business Promotion Grant in February as part of its Devon Delivers programme, which aims to highlight the benefits of locating a business in the county.
Grants of up to £1,000 were awarded to 12 Devon companies earlier this year to promote their goods or services to national and international trade audiences.
