A Devon removals company is volunteering its services to the charity Operation Christmas Child for the second year running.
The idea of the organisation is to encourage donations of shoeboxes filled with gifts. These shoe boxes are then delivered around the world to children who without this donation may not receive a Christmas gift. Over 180 guests joined St John’s Chambers, the largest Set in the South West with over 80 barristers at their charity ball in aid of ‘Action against Medical Accidents’ (AvMA). The event raised more than £6,000 for the independent charity, which promotes better patient safety and justice for people who have been affected by a medical accident and is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Exeter Round Table’s Annual charity fireworks display is being held at Westpoint again this year.
This spectacular event has grown to become the biggest fireworks display in Exeter, and taken on a new dimension since moving to Westpoint three years ago.
