Police searching for the body of missing person Alma Royle have discovered a body in the Pocombe Bridge area of Exeter.
Police supported by other search agencies, including mountain rescue, have been carrying out extensive searches since Alma was reported missing from her home in Exeter on Saturday 27 July.
She was last seen at the Co-op store in Dunsford Hill on the morning of Friday 26 July.
A police spokesperson confirmed: "Officers are at the scene and will recover the body today and the identification process will be completed in due course.
