Minis and Juniors ( age 4-11)

10am – 11.30am Startrack – minis and juniors aged 4-11 – cost – £8 a sesson (please complete booking form to attend).

Technical Masterclass (age 12-adult)

12-1.15 – Pole Vault – beginners – (any age 8 or over)

1.30-3pm – Junior / Beginner High Jump – 1m – 1.60m

3pm-4.30pm -Advanced High Jump – 1.60 plus. £8 for the session (£15 for 2 sessions, £20 for 3 sessions and £24 for 4...

Princesshay support MS Society Challenge60 with Wig-ty-60 Day

The Princesshay team continues to support Land Securities’ national charity, the MS Society, by taking part in ‘Wig-ity-60’ on Friday 26 July. The national charity is marking its 60th anniversary this year with a Challenge60 campaign, which aims to raise £250,000 in 60 days to fund vital research.

Members of the Princesshay team wore bright orange wigs on Friday 26 July in an effort to raise awareness and money for the MS Society’s Challenge60 fundraising event. Security guards, car park attendants, cleaners and centre management staff all took part.

Francis Clark climbs into top 25 of UK chartered accountancy practices

South West based chartered accountants Francis Clark are now 24th in the latest Top 50 league table of UK chartered accountancy practices.

The latest figures, published by Accountancy Age reveal that Francis Clark has moved up four places in the league.

They also have a recorded turnover increase of 21%. This follows the seven-office, 46-partner firm improving its position in the Western Morning News Annual Business Guide Top 150 firms, placing it 42nd, from 44th in 2012 and 69th in 2011.

Expect the unexpected this September as The Unexpected Festival comes to Exeter.

The Unexpected Festival will take place from 15-22 September and will include activities such as art making, music acts and other contemporary performances. It really all is in the name, the festival will not take place in one conventional location, but instead, across several locations in Exeter.

Exeter’s John Lewis store has announced the next three charities to receive support through its Community Matters scheme.

John Lewis customers are directly involved in how much money is donated to each charity, as they are given the ability to vote through the Community Matters scheme.

The scheme enables customers to receive a token at the till, which they then pop into the box of the charity they would like to receive funds. At the end of each round of voting, John Lewis splits a £3,000 donation according to the proportion of the customer vote they received.

RSCPA urges pet owners to arrange holiday care

The summer holidays are with us, and that means millions of Brits are heading off on holiday. However, one family member is often left behind, the family pet.

The RSPCA has released a statement saying that an increasing number of pets are being left nothing but piles of food whilst their owners go away. This type of ‘care’ is extremely dangerous, as the hot weather could cause the left out food to become inedible.
