The University of Exeter Arts & Culture team is proud to present a very special gig from one of Devon’s, and indeed the UK’s, finest contemporary folk singers, Jim Causley.

Accompanied by talented guitarist Lukas Drinkwater, Jim will be performing the wonderful songs he has composed to the words of the poems of his distant relative Charles Causley.

A CD of these songs, Cyprus Well, released Summer 2013, has been well-received in the national press.

Exeter Performances of Theatre Alibi’s Morpurgo show I Believe in Unicorns

Exeter based Theatre Alibi tours a new production of Michael Morpurgo’s spellbinding and moving I Believe in Unicorns this autumn.

Major music festival to be staged at Westpoint Exeter

A brand new eclectic music and arts festival, Musico, has just been announced.

The event will be an exciting addition to the ever-growing South West festival scene, which includes Chagstock and the infamous Glastonbury.

Exeter Contemporary Open 2013 Audience Choice Award winner announced

Exeter Phoenix has announced that the Exeter Contemporary Open 2013 Audience Choice Award has been won by Max Cahn. The prestigious contemporary art exhibition, which opened on Friday 13 September, has seen hundreds of visitors vote for their favourite work. In the end Cahn’s work captured the imagination of the public in what was an incredibly close count. On hearing the news, Max Cahn, a Bristol based artist said: "I’m really pleased.
