Ministers struggling with trauma caused by coronavirus will get special training to help them cope with the challenges of the pandemic.

The new training, held online for small groups from next month, will support clergy’s physical and mental health and help them to understand their current feelings as well as reflect on the issues they currently face.

Training bystanders to intervene will help to prevent domestic violence and abuse, study shows

Empowering people to intervene when they witness unacceptable behaviour can help to prevent domestic violence and abuse, a new study has found.

Specific training for bystanders makes them “significantly” more confident to take action when they see or hear wrongdoing related to domestic abuse in their community, according to the research.

A total of 81 per cent of participants reported being more likely to intervene when they saw wrongdoing after the training, this increased to 89 per cent four months later.

Exeter-based Hair@theAcademy, a unique hairdressing training salon and only one of its kind in the UK, announces the move to larger premises to continue their uplifting good works. Digital training experts have responded to the coronavirus pandemic by rapidly making new personal protective equipment (PPE) training for NHS staff.
