This year marks the 62nd annual Summer exhibition of selected pieces by Devon Guild Members.

The show features a diverse range of contemporary craft from across the South West. You can also gain an insight into what makers do all day with diary snapshots of Members' everyday lives displayed alongside the exhibits.

There is a DIY 'Perfect Day' Craft activity in the gallery for kids and don’t forget to vote for your favourite maker in The People’s Choice Award.

What are you feeling today? Happy, sad, excited, wide awake? Express yourself using embroidery, applique and textile collage on to a patch or badge. Materials are provided; you can also bring your own personal fabric pieces. We suggest a donation of £1 per person.

Songs in the Neighbourhood, a FREE concert on the streets of Broadfields

Along Broadfields Road in St Loyes, the roads are named after English composers and it's always summer. Come and join Sine Nomine in serenading the neighbourhood with the music of each composer on their eponymous street corner.

We start in Britten Drive EX2 5RY then move to Coates Road, Grainger Close, Stanford Road, Sullivan Road, Walton Road, Delius Crescent, Purcell Close, finishing at Elgar Close with a rousing chorus.

Free Lightfoot devices for drivers in Exeter

Exeter City Futures is facilitating a collaboration between City Science and Lightfoot to offer free Lightfoot devices to drivers in Exeter. One of the biggest problems with modern day motoring is that good drivers are paying for all the bad drivers out there on the road. Not to mention the air quality issues that bad drivers create.

Well, thanks to a new technology called Lightfoot, good drivers are now rewarded.

'A Celebration of Books' featuring books and cupcakes from the Exeter Authors Association

Exeter Authors Association is holding a book celebration as part of CredFest17 on 17th June from 2-5pm at Crediton Library.

This will be a highly interactive, free event to celebrate writing in Devon.

There is room for only 80 visitors in the venue, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

The Performances- There will be readings from books/ poems. Local published poets and authors will be reading in 10-minute slots. The authors and poets include some of the best south-west writing talents such as

​A devotional performance on the organ by Timothy Parsons (Assistant Director of Music) of this monumental cycle in celebration of the Nativity of Christ. Olivier Messiaen (1908-92) was one of the most influential composers of the twentieth century, and the theology of his deep Catholic faith plays an enormous role in his compositions.

Leading audiology service and NHS partner, Chime Health is raising awareness of the Veteran’s Hearing fund ahead of armistice day. This scheme allows serving and ex-service men and women to gain free hearing help and equipment from Chime, thanks to Government funding.
