A year -long programme of film screenings at the XCentre in Exeter is kicking-off with a fun-filled sing-a-long version of the family classic, The Sound of Music on Saturday 15th November. The event is being organised to raise money for Headway Devon, the local brain injury charity, and all proceeds will be used to support local people with disabilities. The star of BBC series Call the Midwife and The Railway Children is due to visit Tavistock on 25th October for a special screening of her film, The Riddle of the Sands.

Two Short Nights is a chance to promote and celebrate short films and those who have created them.
This event prides itself in helping emerging talent in showcase their short films at selected screenings. There is also workshops and the infamous 48 Hour Film Challenge.
