Exeter film premiere for psychological thriller Hell's Bells

Having smashed its Crowdfunder target earlier this year, Hell's Bells, made by Exeter based film and theatre company Wandering Tiger, will receive a local screening on Friday 2 December 2016 at Exeter Phoenix as part of the Two Short Nights film festival.

For those who can't wait that long, Halloween will also see the release of a special Hell's Bells trailer via Wandering Tiger's website and social media. Made with the support of Creative England via the BFI NET.WORK, the film tells the story of a young woman who has been brainwashed by a secret society of Morris dancers.

Deaf Academy students and RAMM to launch unique film

Exeter Deaf Academy students will share what they imagine might happen at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery (RAMM) at night in the launch of their “Writing With Our Hands” film on Wednesday 19th October.

The showing is part of Exeter’s exetreme imagination festival of writing and stories.

Ashburton Motor Works to partner Dartmoor Film

Devon-based Ashburton Motor Works has entered into a corporate partnership agreement with One Big Mop to provide production vehicles for the upcoming film The Darkness of the Moor.

The film, which is based on Dartmoor and the legend of the Evil Rider, completes its shooting in October.
