The Tesco Extra store in Exeter Vale has lent a helping hand to the Amber Music Project Programme by donating £1,000. The Amber Foundation’s ‘Amber Music Project’ (AMP) will offer homeless and unemployed young people at their residential centre in Chawleigh the chance to work with a range of freelance and local musicians. At around 2.30pm on Monday 30 January 2017, two men approached a man in his 50s, close to the junction with Lawn Hill and The Strand.
The man, who is an employee of a nearby shop, was taking the weekend takings to be banked. He was sprayed in the face with a substance and the cash was stolen by these two men.
The offenders made their way from the scene on foot, running up Lawn Hill, turning left on to High Street before turning right again and running up Orchard Gardens. The offenders were followed by one or two young men on push bikes.

Patients in North Devon can now access a brand new renal facility in Barnstaple to undergo their life-saving kidney dialysis treatment.
The opening of the satellite renal unit was officially marked by staff and patients from the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust (RD&E) and partner Fresenius Medical Care at an event to celebrate the project’s completion.
