New Burger King set to arrive in Exeter

New restaurant will create 24 jobs

Whopper® fans rejoice! Burger King® UK has announced that it will be opening a brand new restaurant in Exeter, giving the city’s much-loved High Street branch a sibling.

What’s more, the restaurant, located at Exe Bridges Retail Park, will bring 24 new jobs to the local area, with recruitment for legendary team members to join the Burger King®family in Exeter now open.

Up to four managerial roles are being created for the restaurant, with two restaurant assistant manager positions currently accepting applications.

Darting duo hitting the bullseye with Selco in Exeter

Darts fans in and around Exeter will have the chance to test their skills against one of the sport’s rising stars and a former World Champion when a new builders merchant opens in the city next week.

Devon-based Ryan Searle, the current world number 16 and last year’s Players Championship Finals runner-up, and 2008 BDO World Champion and current Sky Sports pundit Mark Webster will be at the new Exeter branch of Selco Builders Warehouse on Filmer Way in Marsh Barton on Tuesday, April 26 between 10am and noon.

A comedy magician who was the first to baffle world-famous magic duo Penn and Teller on their very own ITV show, hosted by Jonathan Ross, is coming to an Exeter church for a free show.

Big Garden Birdwatch is the world’s largest wildlife survey and gives RSPB scientists insights into how our garden birds are faring.
