Exeter Chiefs tighthead prop Josh Iosefa-Scott has agreed a new two-year contract with the club.

A colossal force in the Chiefs’ front row, the 145kg prop brings an immoveable quality to the Exeter scrum and defensive line. His confrontational playing style often helps to bring some grit to the Chiefs performance.

The mystery surrounding the death of a British Army captain at the hands of an ‘assassin’ in Egypt during the nineteenth century has been explored by a new piece of historical fiction, released this week.

Captain Charles Agnew, a cavalry officer with the 'Scarlet Lancers', was killed in 1873 in a tragedy shocking enough to be mentioned in Parliament.

His extraordinary life and the circumstances leading up to his death have rarely been explored, however, despite his being memorialised by a stone tablet inside Canterbury Cathedral.

WORK is underway to create 93 new homes in Exeter which will bring more than £1.5 million in vital community investment.

Johnson announces retirement from Chiefs and the PWR

Exeter Chiefs Women’s No 8 Rachel Johnson has announced her intention to retire from the club and rugby in the PWR.

The USA Eagle is committed to the Pacific Four Series (PAC4) in May and Rugby World Cup in August and September later this year but will not be returning to the English league for the 2025/26 season.

Two University of Exeter physics students believe they have broken the world record for making the longest lasting bubble.

Third-year students Boden Duffy and Joe Nightingale managed to form a bubble and keep it in the air for 1 hour 24 mins, beating the world record by over an hour.

The record attempt was made on Monday in a soundproof room in the Physics laboratory at the University of Exeter.
