FOUNDER of Exeter PA Network, Kim Glover, has appeared at a prestigious international summit in Munich, where she spoke about the strategic role of personal assistants.

Kim was a speaker at the Benelux and DACH Executive Summit which took place over two days in Munich this month. The event, which is organised by the Vonlanthan Group, was attended by senior assistants from more than 20 different countries, representing most of Europe, Russia, Saudi Arabia, America and the UK.

Development Conference declared a success

A development conference for PAs and key office staff from across the South West has been declared a huge success, with a 40 per cent growth in attendance on last year.

The event was staged in Bristol by the Exeter PA Network and offered training, development and networking for executive assistants, personal assistants, secretaries and administrators.

And building on the success of this event, organisers have already begun to plan next year’s conference.

PLACES are selling out fast for Exeter PA Network’s annual development conference which offers training and support to key office staff across the south west.

The event offers training, development, and networking for executive assistants, personal assistants, secretaries and administrators and is open to attendees from across the country. One of the area’s most successful networking groups is helping its members prepare for the future at a special development session in June.

Spaces are still available at Exeter PA Network’s formal development event, which is focussing on ‘hardiness and resilience’ and takes place at the Deer Park Hotel, near Honiton, on Thursday, June 22.

SUPPORT and training organisation, Exeter PA Network, which has seen its membership increase by 25 per cent in the last year, has launched its programme of activities for the coming 12 months.

Staff from some of Exeter’s top employers honed their skills at a development evening arranged by a city networking group.

The event, which was organised by the Exeter PA Network, saw more than 50 members attend presentations and training sessions at County Hall.

A ground-breaking project helping young people in Devon get their lives back on track is set to become the Exeter PA Network’s first Charity of the Year.

BEEP (Business Powering Employment Programme) has already helped 93 per cent of the young people it has worked with in Devon secure work, training and education opportunities.
