Friday 5th August, 11.00-15.00 (Cathedral Green) My Lords and Ladies! You are invited to a Medieval Fayre on the Cathedral Green! Wear your finest clothes or borrow some of our own medieval costumes. Have a go at archery and apple bobbing, or put your parents in the stocks and throw a wet sponge at them! Get crafty and have a go at making shields and crowns. FREE (some crafts £1). Suitable for all ages, no booking required for this drop-in activity.

A rare view of Exeter City Centre – if you have a head for heights!

Exeter Cathedral has re-opened its North Tower to visitors as part of the annual Tower Tour programme. The tours take guests up 175 stone stairs to one the city’s most-famous vantage points, offering unrivalled views out to Dartmoor and along the Exe Estuary towards Exmouth.

The panoramic view of the city centre also gives an overview of Exeter landmarks that include Princesshay shopping centre, the University of Exeter, RAMM and many of the city’s churches. Tower tours cost £3.50 on top of the standard Cathedral admission fee which also includes a guided tour of the ground level...
