Choral Workshop - Mendelssohn's Elijah

Andrew Millington, Director of Music at Exeter Cathedral and the Choir's Director of Music, will lead this workshop. The Workshop will be held at The Mint Methodist Church, Fore Street, Exeter EX4 2AT. Registration opens at 9.30 am with singing starting at 10.30 am. There will be a cameo performance of the work from 4 pm to approximately 5 pm.

The Cathedral's three resident organists perform with our choir of children and adults in celebration of the organ's 350th anniversary year.

Following an extensive restoration (completed at the end of 2014) the organ will be back in action, taking a solo role, together with providing the accompaniment for the Cathedral Choir.

This popular concert takes place in the candlelit nave of the Cathedral.

WORDS and music inspired by visits to the ancient Beer Quarry Caves are to be performed by children and young people from across the region at a special concert in Exeter Cathedral in the New Year.

A workplace choir from a leading local law firm has performed its first concert to a packed audience of colleagues, family and clients. The Rolling Scowns – a 24 piece choir from law firm Stephens Scown LLP in Exeter – performed a selection of 11 songs at a concert held at St Stephens Church, Exeter. Young voices raised in praise of Caves

CHILDREN and young people from across the region will come together on Sunday (DEC7) for the second in a series of three B Sharp Voices concerts of music and song inspired by Beer Quarry Caves.

The afternoon show at the Marine Theatre, Lyme Regis finds secondary school age soloists who have been working with professional musicians as part of the B Sharp Voices project performing with the 94-strong choir of primary school children from St Michael’s and

Mrs Ethelston’s in Lyme Regis, Marshwood Primary and Bridport St Mary’s who made their concert debut in October.
