New Investigations into allegations of child abuse by Jimmy Savile include an investigation into an Exeter Children’s home that closed in 1986. The historic investigation into Collette Lodge in Exeter comes as new information from the Metropolitan Police opens 21 new investigations into children’s homes and schools across England and Wales. Investigators from Operation Yewtree have handed allegations dating back to the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s to the Department for Education (DfE).

Mya Stevens - Age 9- Of St Michael's Academy Got through to the REGIONAL FINAL LIVE SHOW at the Exeter Corn Exchange on Sunday 30th March 12pm

TeenStar is a national singing competition for children and teenagers.

Mya competed at the TeenStar singing auditions on Saturday 8th February and was successful in getting through to perform live in the TeenStar singing competition Regional Final Showcase. Crealy great fun!

I had been promising my 10-year-old son Sam a trip to Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park as soon as the wet weather disappeared. So, with the promise of a dry weekend on the cards and with the recent opening of new attraction The Lost World of Atlantis, last weekend was the perfect time to head for Devon’s greatest adventure park!

Sam and I have been fairly regular visitors to Crealy over the years and it never fails to amaze me how much the park grows each year.

Andy Hannan, Devon County Councillor for Priory & St Leonard’s in Exeter, is taking Labour’s campaign to save the council’s children’s homes to the meeting of Cabinet on Wednesday 12th February.
