The multi award-winning Crealy Adventure Park & Resort in Devon has announced two brand new rides opening during 2017. The Junior Driving School launches in time for the Easter holidays, giving guests aged three and over the chance to hone their driving skills. A junior artist from Exeter is to have her picture seen by thousands of shoppers after winning a competition to help design a hessian bag for customers at the city’s Tesco Extra store. Lily-Rose Leach, nine, from Redhills Community Primary School entered a competition organised by the Exeter Vale Shopping Centre store, asking primary school children to draw a picture of what they loved most about the area. Some bright and techy year 6 Exeter pupils looked very sharp as they joined the national debate about internet safety on breakfast TV.

The youngsters from Tedburn st Mary primary school taught the grown-ups a thing or two about staying safe online when they appeared on Good Morning Britain to highlight a report on our children’s digital life.

The report’s findings, the results of a year-long study give a glimpse of what our children are up to on their screens and much of it makes difficult reading for parents.

Bear trail focuses on the science behind play

Parents can explore the vital importance of outdoor play for their under five year olds, during a series of fun education sessions at one of the areas newest attractions.

Early Years teacher Hannah O’Donnell, who specialises in the role of outdoor physical movement and cognitive development of young children, will be running the informal sessions.

They will take place at the Bear Trail, an Army-style adventure course, featuring a series of obstacles, including a zip wire, tunnels and mud pits, near Cullompton.
