Local mums launch pop up children's market in Exeter

Two local mums are launching a brand new pop up children’s market this month. The Cheeki Monkeys preloved sale will open it’s doors at the end of the month and, along with lots of bargains for mums and dads to browse, will also feature a ton of exciting entertainment for the kids. Taster sessions will be available from Rugby Tots, Pyjama Drama and Urban Flow to keep the little ones amused whilst the grown ups shop. The event will also include a bouncy castle, face painting, colouring contest and much more!

Racing for the afternoon starts at 14:20 with gates opening at 12:20. The last race is at 17:10.

Adopt South West is highlighting the fact that there are children waiting to be adopted in Devon and Somerset, and all partner agencies are looking to assess potential adopters now.

Just 12 % of SW kids exercise every day

New research reveals that just 12% of children in the South West are doing physical activity every day, with 50% of parents thinking that children should be properly fitness tested in schools.

Over half of the parents questioned are worried about obesity levels in children and think their children would benefit from more education around fitness in school.
