The Exeter and London-based private, independent bank, Arbuthnot Latham & Co, Limited, today announced the appointment of Martyn Elliott-Cannon to the role of Senior Private Banker. Martyn takes up his role with Arbuthnot Latham with immediate effect.

Artists channel their inner CALM through 3D printing

Unique works of art created using specialist equipment at the University of Exeter are on display in an exhibition that showcases the diverse potential of the technology.

Almost half of UK graduates and students from the South West (40%) have aspirations to set up their own business after leaving University according to new research from Lloyds TSB Commercial , with many citing excitement and a sense of autonomy as key motivating factors . As with many successful businesses, Ashgrove Kitchens really grew as a result of personal recommendation. In 1987 Andy Davis had set up a small business in Crediton to supply kitchen units to other trades, such as kitchen designers and fitters. But local people got to hear about it and word of mouth led him to start producing designer kitchens for retail customers.

One of the South West’s leading building contractors is celebrating 25 years in the construction industry. TEC Construction, which was founded in 1987 by its current Managing Director Tony Carson, reached its quarter of a century milestone earlier this month.
