New premises for leading trade brands

Two of the South West's leading trade brands, MST and Parkins, have moved into new larger premises near Ivybridge following a £250,000 investment by parent company Longhouse Group.

University wins funding bid to streamline Health & Safety initiative for SMEs

Health centre gets new patient communications link thanks to Exeter IT firm

A health centre has undergone a major telecommunications revamp to help further improve customer service for its 10,000 patients.

Roborough Surgery, in Eastcote Close, Plymouth, has had a new call handling system installed by IP Office Ltd based in Exeter, which hopes to boost service efficiency. The new installation was completed last week and now call-handling is via a full commercial contact centre.

A Devon business has come to the aid of a local wildlife charity with a donation of white goods.

Sparkworld, based at Heathfield Industrial Estate, Newton Abbot, delivered a heap of domestic appliances to Paignton Zoo, which is a registered charity. The gift included fridges, freezers, microwave ovens and kettles.

Paignton Zoo’s Jenny Paton said: “These items will help hard-working animal staff and the people who support them, like our in-house vet team and our volunteers. We are extremely grateful to Sparkworld for supporting us in this way.”
