Exeter City debut big screen

A giant new electronic screen at Exeter City Football Club’s ground, St James Park, has finally made its debut.

The club was given permission for the 29 x 17-feet (8.64 x 5.12 metre) LED screen by the city council around the start of the season last August, but delays meant fans had to wait until Saturday to see it in action for the first time.

It is situated behind the St James Road away end, nearest the recently built Stagecoach Adam Stansfield Stand, and will include pre-match videos, team news, the attendance...

Princesshay to host Wimbledon Big Screen

Live outdoor screenings of Wimbledon matches on a giant screen will take place in Princesshay Square for the duration of the legendary two-week tournament (Monday 2nd July – Sunday 15th July).

Princesshay will also provide deckchairs, bean bags and a temporary lawn for visitors to enjoy while watching the matches free of charge.

Summer games, including giant jenga, noughts and crosses and connect 4 will be set up daily for families to enjoy. Visitors can sit and enjoy prime court matches from 1pm, with the finals days starting at 2pm.

Roll up, roll up! Big Screen In The Park is coming to town for seven nights of outdoor cinema this summer.

The city’s largest outdoor cinema event returns to Northernhay Gardens from Monday 6th to Sunday 12th August.

Visitors to the annual event can expect al fresco films, bars, picnics and on-site entertainment. This is a unique opportunity to experience the magic of the movies on a huge 10m screen, with the illuminated Cathedral city as a stunning backdrop.
