M47 rocks the Bahamas - setting their sights on the rest of the world

M47, a new alternative rock band from The Bahamas, has just released their debut single "Hints", available on all streaming platforms and online retailers.

The group was founded in October 2021 by singer, songwriter and guitarist Ash Algreen and producer, songwriter and bassist Gavin Knowles. Gavin is a former Exeter College student.

Gavin, a nominated Hollywood In Music Media Awards Record Producer, was raised between The Bahamas and Devon. An electronic dance music producer, much of his work is in International Film/TV Libraries. His music has appeared on Fox TV, CW...

Groove pop band Heir have followed in the footsteps of their music heroes – all the way to Abbey Road!

The five-piece – whose keyboard player Sam Perry hails from Exeter – have just released their eagerly-awaited new single Fear of Falling .

The brilliant slice of throwback pop was not only recorded at London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios but was produced by the great Ken Scott who has famously worked with such icons as The Beatles, David Bowie, Pink Floyd and Elton John .

The magical experience at Abbey Road was new territory for Heir whose previous singles...

Susannah and the Noise

PetRocks! Fundraiser for Exeter charity

Exeter Cavern will play host to the first PetRocks! fundraiser gig to help people in the city who are homeless.

Organised by local businessman and guitarist Dan Pritchard, of Susannah and the Noise, the gig on Thursday February 20 at the Gandy Street venue will see proceeds go to local charity St Petrock’s, which is working to address the problems caused by homelessness in and around Exeter.

Susannah and the Noise will be joined by Lottie, Ghost Hands and Charlotte AP for the gig.

Last year, between 45 and 95 people were accessing the charity’s drop-in homelessness...

Spanish desert blues trio Guadalupe Plata line up their next rollicking live show at The Phoenix in Exeter this Sunday (11th June).
