Family-run holiday park in Devon Tourism Award finals

Oakdown Touring and Holiday Caravan Park on the East Devon coast is celebrating reaching the top three in the ‘Holiday Park of the Year’ category of the Devon Tourism Awards.

The awards, which are now in their eighth year, celebrate the best of Devon Tourism.

Exeter School takes to the water

Exeter School is delighted to announce an exciting development in its participation in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

As of September, pupils will be able to carry out their Gold Award expedition by sea kayak.

Duke of Edinburgh Manager Mark Schramm said sea kayaking would provide an alternative to the usual walking expeditions.

Exeter-based media agency, Aquamarine Media has been awarded ‘Best Marketing’ at the 373 Business Awards.

A conservation charity is offering local green fingered folk the chance to have their patches honoured as a ‘wildlife-friendly garden’.

Devon wildlife Trust is launching its Wildlife Gardening Awards to encourage Exeter people to help the city’s varied and precious wildlife.
