Parents can breathe a sigh of relief next week as baby and children’s classes finally reopen after the most recent lockdown.

But as well as having to adapt to the new Covid social distancing restrictions Exeter and Exmouth’s Phonics with Robot Reg classes will also look a bit different.

Exeter Ramblers reveal hidden walking trails of Exeter

The Exeter and District Ramblers have produced a collection of hand-picked trails to encourage Exeter residents to get outside and discover a new side to their city.

The collection has been published as a book called Walking Around Exeter, with contributions from different members of the group and tested for accuracy and clarity. The 16 routes in the collection range from 2.5 to 7 miles in length, and are suitable for all ages and abilities.

With great disappointment and sadness, the volunteer committee that organises the renowned annual Exeter Craft Festival has announced that the Festival will not take place this year.

Having postponed their annual concert in Exeter Cathedral last July due to Covid, the Amadeus Orchestra is delighted to announce that it will now take place in July 2021.

Principal conductor Philip Mackenzie says: “As an orchestra, we have been silent since February 2020 when we performed in the House of Commons and we are very excited by the prospect of performing once again.
