The Southernhay-based firm welcomes Chris Thorpe as the new Tax Director and announces the promotions of Patrick Tigwell as general practice Equity Partner and Lisa Crockford to Associate Partner for the Forensics Department. This follows the recent merger with Crediton accountancy practice Ocean Consultancy Limited run by founder David Park who is now an Equity Partner of Haines Watts Exeter.
Exeter City will be hosting Swansea City in a pre-season friendly at St James Park on Sunday 21 July (kick-off 3pm). Quantock Brewery set out to raise £100,000 on the Exeter-based equity crowdfunding platform, Crowdcube , but such was its popularity that the pitch overfunded and finally raised a grand total of £120,000. This takes Crowdcube’s funding total to £9.6 million for 56 pitches.
