Bubble Bubble Co. on Exeter High Street has reportedly gone into liquidation.
A distressed employee contacted The Exeter Daily claiming that she would not be paid for her work as the company had become insolvent.
The employee had discovered the news after, having not recieved her wages, she visited the shop - only to find that it was closed with fixtures removed.
The mother of the 17-year old Bubble Bubble Co. worker said "They had done a moonlight flit job."
After contacting the company, the employee was told Bubble Bubble Co. had gone into liquidation....

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on the old A30 near Lifton in Devon. One year on from the Olympics and Paralympics more than half the adult population is doing the recommended amount of physical activity, but worryingly more than a quarter are not doing even 30 minutes a week and putting their health at risk, Public Health Minister Anna Soubry has warned.

The city of Edinburgh may be in the midst of holding their annual Fringe Festival, but not to be outdone, Exeter were able to offer its own mini-fringe to local residents in the form of four boys performing their one-man shows in the Hourglass pub over six evenings last week. The number of people claiming Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) in Devon has fallen for the fifth consecutive month, meaning claimant numbers are at the lowest they have been since November 2008.
The claimant count across the county was down by 244 from 7,741 in June to 7,497 in July.
Even though the Devon figures reflect the national trend, the month on month decrease of 3.2% has occurred at a faster rate in Devon compared to the UK (1.5%).
