They aim is to bring a taste of Spain to the UK and their main objective is to be an online shop where people can buy authentic and typical Spanish products, to be delivered straight to their door.

19-year-old from Exeter killed in car crash

A 19-year-old man from Exeter has died in a car crash in Wiltshire.

The man, who has not been named, was a passenger in a car which hit the curb and overturned before colliding with a tree at around 18:30 yesterday evening (Monday 11 November).

The driver, a man from the Peterborough area, was taken to Salisbury District Hospital with serious head injuries.

The 19 year-old died at the scene just outside of Tidworth

Wiltshire Police closed the road to investigate and more details are expected once the families have been informed.

Devon Couple win dream wedding

A couple from Teignmouth will be able to get married for free after visiting Exeter’s newest wedding venue.

Claire Geisler and her future husband Ben Miles, 31, won the ceremony and reception at the newly opened Larkbeare House, just off Topsham road.

Eco-graffiti to stop dog's mess in Exeter

Exeter city council is testing out plans to use environmentally friendly graffiti to encourage dog owners to pick up after their pets.

The council will be ‘tagging’ pavements with messages warning of the £1,000 fine for leaving dogs mess in public areas.

The stencils (pictured) show a dog above the message ‘Clean it Up! - £1,000 fine”

The messages will be tagged with a special chalk-based paint which washes away in the rain and leaves no residue.

Bantham village to be sold for £10m

The entire village of Bantham in South Devon is to be sold for £10 million The village which has only 25 houses, a pub and a shop that opens only on weekends is set to be sold off as part of the a £35 million sale of a family owned estate. Residents lease the houses from Evans Estates who own the properties and many of the leases have carried on for generations.

But they could now face being evicted after it emerged the village and wider estate is set to be sold.

Fourth Firefighters strike tomorrow

Fire-fighters will strike across England and Wales for a fourth time tomorrow.

In a four hour walkout between 10am and 2pm members of the Fire Brigades Union will leave their posts over the ongoing pension’s dispute with the government.

As well as industrial action the FBU will hold a ballot of members to decide if to take further industrial action.

Dawlish flood prevention work begins

De-silting work is about to start on Dawlish Brook to help reduce future flooding, protect the town centre, residents and businesses and its world-famous waterfowl.

Work is scheduled to start on today (12 November) and is set to last two weeks.

South West PCCs lobby to against further police cuts

Five Police and Crime Commisioners, including Devon and Cornwall PCC Tony Hogg have sent letters to Policing Minister Damian Green over potential further cuts to police funding.

Flybe boss says job cuts are "about shrinking to grow"

This morning saw the announcement that Exeter based airline, Flybe is expecting to cut 500 jobs from its already reduced staff of around 2,700.

At a press briefing today the new CEO Saad Hammad explained the reasons behind a further reduction in staff despite a return to profitability this year.

Speaking at the briefing Hammad defended the job losses and shrinking the size of Flybe’s operation, suggested that the future of the Flybe training academy may be in jeopardy and stated that no area of the business would be secure against potential job cuts.
