Masters students from the University of Exeter’s Staging Shakespeare course will be in costume outside the Elizabethan Guildhall in Exeter High Street at 5.30pm ready to parade down to St Nicholas Priory (The Mint, off Fore Street), where followers will be met with a glass of punch and promenade drama performances between 6pm and 7pm.

Members of Alphington Village Forum met with Bovis Homes on Monday (10/12/13) to express their views and objections to the Developer's new plans in the strongest terms. The meeting took place before Bovis Homes' opened their exhibition to show the public their plans for the South West Exeter 1-3 part of the Teignbridge Local Plan. Devon County Council is planning to reduce its public transport spending by around £760,000 during 2014/15.
While the majority of the money has already been accounted for there is still around £100,000 in savings left to be found.

Police in Torquay have released CCTV stills of a group of men they would like to speak to in connection with the vandalism of a Christmas fair in the town.
Christmas lights, attached to nine market huts outside the Town Hall, are seen on CCTV being attacked by the four men in the early hours of Sunday 8 December.
The men are also seen ripping the paper off one of the huts which had been made up to look like a giant Christmas present.

The Equalities minister Maria Miller has announced that same-sex marriages can take place from March 29.

Paignton Zoo, a registered education, science and conservation charity, is believed to be one of the first zoos in the UK to stock Madecasse Chocolate, made from the finest Madagascan cocoa.
