Last Saturday (7th June) saw a whole host of bloggers descended on Exeter to take part in the South West Blog Social. The event, run by local bloggers Jodie Dewberry (@alajode) and Albertine Brandon (@dippywrites) brought together over 50 bloggers for a day of fun and girly pampering at Oddfellows Bar, New North Road.

Devon and Cornwall Police has donated £2,500 to Mid Devon District Council in an initiative that will see an upgrade to Tiverton town’s CCTV system.
There are currently sixteen CCTV cameras plotted around the town centre and it is hoped that this will be increased by a further two. Images from each camera are sent via a fibre optic cable to the CCTV operating room and recorded on a digital video recorder which can be used in criminal investigations.
