Valuable gokarts stolen from Raceworld

Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a business premises in Woodbury Salterton. The incident occurred sometime overnight between Wednesday 20 August and Thursday 21 August at the premises of Raceworld, located at Greendale Business Park, in Woodbury Salterton. The offenders entered the premises by forcing the shutter doors and once inside stole valuable Go karts including seven Rimo Evo 6 Go Karts (pictured) valued at £5,000 each, and two Statos Karts, one Pro model (pictured) and one Cadet model valued at £1,500 each. Inspired by the example of the rooftop beehives on Princesshay shopping centre in Exeter, they have made work in the fields of printmaking, photography, ceramics, textiles and jewellery. Foundation XV Confirmed

Fifteen prominent Exeter-based businesses have pledged to support the Exeter Foundation by motivating their staff to raise funds through various fundraising events and donating a minimum of £1500 each.

Local mental health project receives support of acclaimed artist

The Time to Change funded Double Elephant project based in Exeter has received support from acclaimed artist David Shrigley.

Three learners from WESC Foundation, The Specialist Centre for Visual Impairment in Exeter, are celebrating after receiving their GCSE results.

The determined learners have faced more challenges than most, as they are all registered visually impaired, and they gained passes in Maths, Science, English, Leisure and Tourism, and PE along with thousands of other teenagers

A giant walking ear was the talk of the town when it took to the streets with Exeter hearing specialists to raise awareness of the importance of regular hearing screening and cash for charity.

The team at Specsavers Hearing Centre Exeter were joined by the Specsavers Big Ear as they campaigned for better hearing health awareness in the community and raised a three-figure sum for charity Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
