Dartmoor National Park Authority is asking for views on a new code of conduct for cycling within the National Park.
The new code provides a simple set of guidelines aimed to encourage responsible cycling within the National Park for both on and off road cyclists. The National Park produces a series of codes for all the most popular activities enjoyed on Dartmoor and with a huge increase in the use of the moor and its road network for cycling there is a need to provide information to help with awareness.

Ottery St Mary’s popular ‘Samosa Lady’ Tina Chauhan is opening her own shop in the centre of town after her style of cooking took locals by storm.
The shop in Broad Street will sell light Indian snacks and chai tea from a special family recipe, as well as chilled curries, pickles, chutneys, rice, bread and Tina’s celebrated handmade samosas.
Tina has spent the last few years introducing her own brand of home-style Gujarati food to the people of East Devon, selling the samosas along with her signature coriander chutney at the town’s monthly community market.

The Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust has won a national award for outstanding efficiency and improvement in developing community services.
The Trust’s stroke therapy team added to its growing trophy collection with victory at the HSJ Value in Healthcare Awards on Tuesday night (23 September).
The team beat seven other finalists in the Value and Improvement in Community Health Service Redesign category.
The nomination related to the ongoing success of the team’s early supported discharge (ESD) and VISTA projects.
Early Met Office figures show this is set to be the driest September across the UK since records began in 1910, with exceptionally low rainfall for many parts of the country.
It is also likely to finish in the top five warmest, with UK mean temperatures significantly above the monthly average.
Using figures from 1-28 September, the UK as a whole has received 19.4 mm of rain, which is just 20 % of the normal amount of rainfall we'd expect for the month. Prior to this, the driest September on record was 1959 with 23.8mm.
A worrying new survey has revealed that 12% of three year olds have tooth decay.
The reserach, published by Public Health England (PHE), found that those children affected had an average of 3 decayed teeth due to the disease.
There was a dramatic variation of tooth decay prevalence ranging from 2% to 34% across the country. However the large majority of children (88%) in this age group have no decay at all. This reflects trends of significant improvements in dental health since the introduction of fluoride toothpaste in 1976.
