Join the Killerton Big Apple Pick Up

Now autumn is in full swing, Killerton Estate near Exeter is all set for families to join the free ‘Big Pick Up’ in Sparrow Park Orchard on Saturday 4, Sunday 5, Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 October, from 11am to 4pm.

Helen Trebble from Killerton’s Countryside Team said: "We rely on the help from volunteers and our local community to help harvest the fallen fruit to be pressed into Killerton's award-winning cider.

"Everyone is invited to help collect up the apples. Kids can be let loose in the orchard with mini wheelbarrows while adults can enjoy the free cider tasters on offer and chat to our Countryside Team."
