Skin Angels give skincare advice at Crealy's World Cup Rugby Festival

Skin Angels, a group of campaigning beauty therapists from Exeter’s Purity Boutique Spa, recently spent the day Crealy’s Tag Rugby Festival.

The event, held in celebration of the Rugby World Cup coming to Exeter in 2015, featured 300 children from 30 primary schools across Exeter, Mid and East Devon.

Mariam says: “The Skin Angels love getting out and about to talk to people young and old about protecting their skin. We educate about the importance of wearing sun protection all year round and demonstrate the best techniques for application.”

Exeter Chief’s player Carl Rimmer is an ambassador for Skin Angels.

Carl comments: “‘I am proud to be supporting the Skin Angels in their campaign to raise awareness about the dangers of the sun. As a rugby player I spend a lot of time outdoors and I know that harmful rays can damage the skin even on a cloudy day.”

Skin Angels will be out and about throughout 2014 and 2015 visiting schools, colleges and other events across Devon.

The UK charity, Teenage Cancer Trust, is backing Mariam in her efforts.
