Research released today (29 July) reveals that people in the South West find having difficult conversations tougher at work than at home.
The research conducted by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) shows their top three tricky conversation topics are all work-related. 100 churches have now signed up to the Parish Giving Scheme, an innovative scheme that helps parishes manage their regular donations.
On the 20 July a celebratory event was held where the 100th church to sign up in Devon, Gulworthy, and four of the pilot parishes (who helped to launch the scheme within the Exeter diocese) were presented with certificates by the Bishop of Exeter, Robert Atwell.

Devon-based tech start-up, Powered Now, announces the launch of its second investment pitch on Crowdcube, the world’s largest equity crowdfunding platform.

A special service was held at Buckfast Abbey in Buckfastleigh to bless its recently reopened Northgate House, which has been transformed into luxurious retreat and conference accommodation following an extensive refurbishment project.
