Staff and residents at Cumberland Grange Care Home in Exeter are celebrating because two of the homes much-loved characters, Avril Tucker and Brian Edwards, have been elected as Resident Ambassadors, a role they are extremely proud of and one they do very well. The Birdhouse Café in Exeter’s Pinces Gardens has launched a £20,000 crowdfunding campaign to expand its indoor space and renovate the kitchen to ensure this popular community hub can thrive all year round.
